Talan Products is searching for a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to join our team! As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for upholding our companies’ standards by ensuring our products meet quality expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install and align specified dies in press
- Adjust feeders, straighteners, and de-coilers
- Enter process parameters into equipment controllers
- Perform all routine maintenance on press
- Using calipers and other measurement devices to inspect critical dimensions of parts per documented quality requirements
- Keep equipment, dies, tools, and work area clean and organized
- Record and complete daily labor cards, and production sheets
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole number, common fractions and decimals
