Position Summary:

U.S. Continental Marketing, in Corona, CA is looking for a passionate Packaging Graphic Designer who loves being creative and has a keen eye for detail.  Our ideal candidate is innovative, organized, and collaborative. As a Packaging Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for executing solutions that meet design direction within brand, manufacturing, and cost constraints. You will manage multiple projects across multiple brands, working under the supervision of Jr. Art Director to create and develop designs.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

•  Create innovative and attractive packaging designs that align with our customers’ brand identity and expectations.
• Develop and execute designs for various marketing collateral, including brochures, labels, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to understand design requirements.
• Generate design concepts, sketches, and mockups for review and feedback.
• Implement revisions to match sales or development requests.
• Maintain brand consistency across all design materials.
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
• Understand and verify the accuracy of copy, regulated package elements, and basic compliance requirements.

Education/ Qualification/ Knowledge:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably with a focus on package design
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is a plus not required
• Two or more years in proofing, pre-flighting, preparing, and press checking files
• A portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative capabilities.
• Experience with 3D renderings, CAD and packaging software
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Knowledge of packaging design, materials, and production processes
• Knowledge of printing processes, substrates, and finishes.
• Knowledge of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Modern, forward-thinking, detailed oriented, and a team player.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate workload and communicate proactively to Project Manager.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and independently on assignments.

• Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
