Schedule: Monday - Friday ,8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative packaging designs and concepts that align with product requirements, regulatory guidelines, and customer expectations
- Perform packaging testing including performance testing, transportation testing, and shelf-life studies
- Select appropriate packaging materials in consideration of compatibility, stability, sterility, cost, and environmental impact
- Recommends and executes process flow improvements related to packaging and labeling
- Develop and implement packaging and labeling specifications and procedures resulting in consistent quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering for sustaining and new product development packaging and labeling projects
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to packaging in the bioprocess field
- Perform continuous improvement utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Responsibility for response to any applicable NCRs, CAPAs, Internal Audits, customer complaints, etc.
- Develop experiments and test, including writing and executing protocols, to qualify and validate manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with packaging vendors and CMOs as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree
Experience specific to this position:
- Prior experience in regulated manufacturing operations environment in positions of increasing responsibility including design, improvement, validation, and implementation of clean room equipment, new and existing product packaging and product shelf-life studies, and distribution testing.
- History of supporting multiple new product launches concurrently with new & existing packaging designs
- Prior management experience with clean rooms, cleaning systems, and sealing equipment
- Extensive knowledge of packaging and materials in a medical or orthopedic environment
- Solid working knowledge of orthopedic product introductions
- Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing personalities and styles in a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated leadership, people development and team building skills
- Ability to interface with internal/external customers, problem solve and drive solutions to meet requirements
- Prior experience with QSR and ISO 13485
- Microsoft office proficiency, Outlook, Word, Excel.
