Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious multitalented Packaging and Print Graphic Designer with expertise in Packaging and Print design, pre-press, and Print production. Knowledge of web, digital, and video is a plus. The ideal candidate will work with a team of designers to support both MARCOM and Brand Marketing. As part of a fast-paced, growing, creative team, they will be responsible for ideating, developing, and executing best-in-class retail (Walmart, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O’Reilly, Dollar General etc.) marketing materials for our brands, which includes packaging, POP, POSM, displays, trade show, social media content, web graphics and more. The successful candidate will actively contribute to achieving the team's objectives of driving organic growth and establishing sustainable differentiation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and eye-catching packaging designs that align with client requirements, brand guidelines, and industry standards.
• Create high-quality Print Graphics for various marketing collateral, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across different platforms.
• Possess a deep understanding of pre-press processes, including color correction, file preparation, and ensuring print-ready artwork for production.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, MARCOM, R&D, and Sales, to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with business goals.
• Stay updated on design trends, market insights, and competitor analysis to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
• Interact with clients to understand their design preferences, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the design process.
• Conduct thorough reviews of design files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality designs within the specified timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6 years graphic design experience in packaging, traditional print, and digital.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of print production procedures, encompassing traditional, specialty, and digital printing methods.
• Ability to work with another designer's working files, for completion or new buildouts.
• Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of software functionality and basic design skills.
• Highly proficient with current Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with a wide range of design software and applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Work closely with brand managers, marketing communication, sales, and suppliers to develop and coordinate successful and on time production of marketing materials.
• Take direction, both from managers as well as internal clients (marketing/sales)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Can effectively express and present ideas, collaborate, actively listen, and work well independently or in a team environment.
• Strong and diverse portfolio showcasing a diverse range of Packaging and Print design projects with a keen eye for color, composition, and typography.
