Package Delivery Driver

Gannett Logistics is a FedEx Ground and Home Delivery company looking for enthusiastic, experienced drivers to provide package pick-up and delivery services for FedEx customers. Gannett Logistics is obsessive about Reliability, Safety, and Service, and want team members who feel the same!

Location:

We are based in Eau Claire, WI and are responsible for delivery from the Baldwin area north to the Cumberland area.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid drivers license
• Clean driving record (no accidents, DUIs, cell phone tickets, reckless driving, etc. in the last 3 years - minor tickets and accidents OK)
• Must successfully pass drug screen and DOT physical
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and honest (unscheduled absences are unacceptable)
• Able to lift large / heavy packages up to 150 lbs
• At least 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience is preferred (e.g. moving van, bus, Uber, Amazon, food delivery, etc.) (No CDL required)

Only candidates who meet all of the above qualifications will be considered for this position.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekday & Weekend shifts available
• Year round work
• Work time will depend on route and package volume
• Full-time and Part-time positions available

Compensation:

• New or temporary employees will be paid $100 / day for training
• Once a new driver is ready to deliver on their own, the pay goes up to $150 / day
• After 1 month of solid performance, the driver will also become eligible for additional performance bonuses
• Salary is paid weekly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• No college degree required
• Organizational skills
• Self-motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision
