About This Role

The Engineering Manager will lead and inspire a talented group of engineering teams responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our core platform. This role is pivotal in achieving our strategic goals by ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of software products and services across multiple value streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate multiple cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the platform strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and ensuring that engineering efforts contribute to the company's success.
• Delivery and Execution: Oversee the successful delivery of multiple value streams within the platform, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality software products and services.
• Resource Management: Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and planning for engineering teams, optimizing for efficiency and productivity.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing procedures, and best practices to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between engineering efforts and product roadmaps.
• Technology Stack: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and drive the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance the platform's capabilities.
• Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key performance metrics related to engineering team performance, project delivery, and platform health.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing challenges and obstacles that may impact project timelines and quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and a relentless focus on efficiency and excellence

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of engineering management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by AWS
• Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages, integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, encryption tools and best practices, and forensics
