Overnight Welcome Host (Night Auditor)

We’re looking for a warm, friendly, and helpful Overnight Welcome Host to join our team and fulfill our vision of delivering unforgettably positive human interactions for all people.

The Responsibility: Collaborate with ALL hotel teams to deliver kick-ass guest experiences by giving people exactly what they want even before they ask for it. Contribute to maintaining a friendly and warm atmosphere for all people coming through our doors.

A few examples of what the ideal person for this role will do on a daily basis:

• Serve as hotel ambassador by working overnight shifts at the welcome area
• Offer a lending hand to carry guest luggage, and deliver service items like towels and TV remotes to guest rooms
• Strike up memorable conversations with people in the lobby
• Create a cozy haven for guests by noticing and picking up stray trash and debris
• Show kindness by assisting the Breakfast Host with preparing breakfast service in the mornings
• Anything else that you can imagine or that someone else might imagine!

You’ll also manage technical operations such as: Maximizing room revenue by using effective face-to-face and telephone selling skills to convince people to stay at our hotel and pay our rates. Performing error free work on a consistent basis; taking reservations, checking guests in/out, and handling cash and credit card transactions, etc.

The measure of success: How well you can “WOW” our guests by coming up with everyday solutions that go beyond the expectations of what they need – to “WOW” our guests, you must knock their socks off by being the friendliest, most helpful, and most hospitable human being they have ever encountered in a hotel.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
