Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Slots team, the Slot Technician II is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Slot Technician II is responsible for providing exceptional Guest service on the gaming floor, responding to technical service calls, and helping to keep the gaming floor clean and organized.  

The Slot Technician II is additionally responsible for troubleshooting machines and performing general maintenance tasks and repairs. Including electronic and mechanical component repair, in addition to responding to floor calls while on shift.

Position Functions
Essential Functions
    Provide exceptional Guest service with the ability to provide user-friendly support.
    Troubleshot machines and perform general maintenance tasks and repairs, including electronic and mechanical component repair, using cognitive reasoning.
    Verify machine claims and required information to determine the outcome of the claim, notifying management as necessary.
    Assist Slot Attendants with repair needs and escalate more advanced repairs.
    Maintain assigned work area (assigned sections) by actively roaming, listening, and responding to radio requests, maintaining the area clean of waste, organizing chairs, and inspecting machines for errors, whether slots are vacant or being played.
    Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions.
    Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of games offered. Assists in ensuring rules of play are followed.
    Troubleshoot, replace, or repair components (such as touch screens, bill acceptors, buttons, player tracking displays, card readers, etc.).
    Collaborate with the Slot Technician III's to ensure accurate tracking of games that require more advanced repairs.
    Collaborate with the Slot Operation Team Members to address recurring problems and share knowledge.
    Provide preventative maintenance to gaming machines.
    Capacity to make prompt and sound decisions, especially under pressure.
    Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software.
    Categorize and prioritize support requests efficiently.
    Diagnose and resolve common technical issues.
    Identify systemic issues early and propose solutions.
    Other duties as assigned.
    In-depth understanding of progressive controllers and logic used.
    Perform major, more complex repair and modification work on gaming machines with minimum supervision. 
    Perform the duties of Slot Technician I as necessary.

    Strong gaming repair skills (Ability to complete all PMs and diagnose and repair all issues).

    Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
    Project planning skills.
    Maintain documentation for procedures, processes and inventory management.
    Ability to maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
    Must be at least 21 years of age.
    High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
    1+ years of Slot Technician experience.
