Position Overview: The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic environment with clients and facilitates the maintenance of a therapeutic environment by providing supportive services to individuals with Mental Health challenges in a 24-hour clinic and residential setting. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for documenting services provided in the resident’s electronic health record and facility log, providing crisis intervention services as needed, and maintaining the upkeep and operations of facilities.

Starting pay: Full Time $22.50
- Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Sunday)
Educational Requirements
BA in Psychology or related field preferred but not required. Graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Monitors client’s whereabouts at all times and documents specific targeted behaviors during shift. Provides a daily written report on rounds.
- Observes, reports, and documents client issues / complaints.
- Provides direct client care as assigned by licensed staff.
- Provides an ongoing safe environment for staff and clients.
- Provides supervision of self-administration medication program.
- Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with residents and staff.
- Attends training meetings.
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in work environment.
- Assist with upkeep of facility.
- Participate in shift exchange and complete shift report before departure.'
