Overnight Front Desk and Patrol

Position Summary

** THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT POSITION**

** This position is a 30-hour work week**

* Pay rate will increase to $18.50 per hour after candidate has successfully completed their 90-day introductory period. *

The Overnight Front Desk and Patrol will secure the premises by patrolling the property. The Overnight Front Desk and Patrol is responsible for recording the names of visitor, patrolling the property, and stopping any trespassers.
To be successful, you will be alert, professional, aware of all visitors to the property and ensure gates, pools, access points are all secure as directed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that guests arriving after hours are checked in and check out guests completing their stay.
• While patrolling the property, make guests aware of the rules that must be adhered to.
• Preventing trespassers from entering/wandering the property and contact authorities as necessary.
• Contact relevant authorities if a crime is committed or in the case of a medical emergency.
• Notify the Resort Manager or assigned contact person when issues happen at the property.
• Document and report any suspicious activities to the Resort Manager or Supervisor.
• Be available for guests after hours and provide assistance as necessary.
• Patrol property by foot and/or golf cart.
• Complete a Nightly Checklist.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive golf cart on property.
• Basic first aid & CPR certification preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous Patrol experience.
• Must have a valid Guard Card.

Physical Demands of the Position

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and will often be required to lift 10 – 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
