Nonhazardous Waste Recycling Operator
Mechanical Experience required
Employees will work in the environmental field as a part of a highly professional and motivated team that processes nonhazardous waste through a thermal dryer for beneficial reuse. Operators will learn how to use specialty tools and equipment; interpret and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, and computer consoles; understand SCADA, operations, repairs, and maintenance; and knowledge of thermo drying plant processes, equipment, and systems. On site training is provided.
EDUCATION: Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s Degree, Technical School, or Military Experience preferred.
ABILITIES: Work is performed both inside and outside with exposure to all kinds of weather conditions. Employees may be occasionally exposed to some noise, silica, dust, fumes, smoke, gases, greases, oils, electrical energy, solvents, and vibrations. Employee will work on slippery/uneven surfaces, around machinery with moving parts, moving objects /vehicles, and ladder/scaffolding, below ground and may be exposed to water and other liquid materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this include close vision and distance vision.
- Must be capable of being assigned in responsible charge of the facility with the ability to react to unplanned events.
- Must be able to work as a team in a teamwork-oriented environment.
- Must be safety conscious and able to work independently with no supervision.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
