Sales representative
Green Team Pest, a growing pest control company that’s been serving the Houston area for nearly two decades, is looking for a friendly, self-motivated and results-oriented sales representative to join our team.
Aside from being able to do some of your job remotely, a major perk of this position is that you won’t have to spend your days making cold calls to people who may not be interested in pest control services. Instead, the majority of your time will be focused on reaching out to warm leads who have already trusted our sister company to handle their home inspections and have seen the quality of our work firsthand. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to meet with customers in person when their initial treatment is being performed which gives you another opportunity to sell them additional services. So what does all of this mean for you? Well, in a nutshell, it means that rather than having to fight to keep prospects on the phone, you’ll be able to share comprehensive, accurate information about our programs while educating them about our commitment to keeping their home and family safe from unwanted pests. Responsibilities:
● Running complimentary applications set by the scheduler from inspection leads
● Performing the application set following the treatment protocol
● Communicating with customer upon arrival and after the job is complete
● Selling the potential customer on recurring services
● Setting call backs on accounts not sold and following up with the leads
● Contacting leads that weren’t sold throughout the year
● Rescheduling appointments
● Helping with customer concerns and questions
● Helping with the service side of business when needed
Requirements:
● Previous sales experience preferred but not required
● Able to work Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
● Reliable internet connection and quiet place to work
● Excellent computer and communication skills
● Must be comfortable spending most of your time communicating with customers and prospects
● An outgoing, friendly personality
● Strong organizational skills
● Ability to prioritize and multitask
● Demonstrate a strong work ethic
● Excellent judgment and independent thinking skills
● Be a self starter who can anticipate and solve problems
● Can work well independently and as part of a team
● Possess a high school diploma or GED
● Must pass background check
● Current Texas drivers license and clean driving record
