OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for physical prospecting and closing business with new and existing client accounts in the Houston area. Through daily introductions, communications, and in-person meetings, this position is expected to foster account relationships to grow revenues for M7 Services. The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate about technology, and driven to succeed in selling M7’s full-service portfolio.
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Prospecting for and identifying new accounts in the local Houston market.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of M7’s service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold-calling, and other lead-generation strategies.
- Scheduling in-person client meetings and reviews.
- Conducting needs analysis to understand clients’ IT requirements and challenges.
- Present M7 Services’ suite of IT services to potential clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the organization's overall growth.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of existing systems by following existing and new standards/procedures/processes for daily activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 27001:2013 requirements by complying with the Information Security Policy and procedures and meeting ISMS objectives.
- All employees have a professional duty to bring up to the IS Department, Top Management, or their Supervisor, any information security issues or incidents or situations that present potential security risks.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
2+ year degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, business administration or a related field. BA/BS preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5+ years of Outside Sales experience.
- Existing C-suite and decision-maker network is preferred.
- Professional Services sales experience is required; MSP experience is preferred.
- Experience working in an ISO 27001:2013 environment a plus.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
