Outside Sales Rep - Wholesale Lumber and Building Materials
Mid-Atlantic Area - Based out of Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD
Our client is a well-known and well-respected wholesale lumber and building products distributor that serves lumberyards. They are passionate about providing a high level of service to their customers.
The Ideal Candidate Is:

The Ideal Candidate Has:
Experience selling lumber and/or high-quality exterior building products, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Past success selling to lumberyards in the territory is preferred. *If you're in an Inside Sales Role and want to get outside this could be your opportunity!
Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively articulating value propositions to diverse audiences.
An aptitude for territory management, from strategic planning to tactical execution.
Experience with new business development, including prospecting and cold calling, showing tenacity and creativity in expanding the customer base.
Responsibilities + Opportunities:
Nourish existing lumberyard customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty while maximizing sales opportunities.
Prospect for new business, expanding the client base and territory through strategic outreach and networking.
