Outside Sales Professional

Allied Building Service is a family-owned Detroit-based commercial contractor that covers a wide range of building trades and various janitorial services. Our janitorial service area includes Southeastern Michigan, we have a small but stable base of janitorial clients and are looking for the right person to help grow the team.

We are looking for a person that wants to make selling a career. The ideal candidate MUST be competitive, hungry, and willing to prospect and win. If you are a self-motivated individual with an excellent work ethic, and willingness to learn, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect: Identify target market customers by actively prospecting, qualifying, and creating new relationships.
• Sales: Execute the sales process by scheduling appointments, presenting product and service capabilities, understanding customer needs, and presenting proposals.
• Build Relationships: Conduct Quarterly and Annual health meetings with all janitorial clients.
• Invoicing: Review and verify monthly billing amounts

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Selling Experience Preferred
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
• A high comfort level with face-to-face customer interaction.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and detail oriented with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Have and maintain a reliable form of transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
• Present self professionally in attitude and attire
