About the role:
As a Freight ForwardingSales Executive, you will be instrumental in the growth and development of the international Freight Forwarding business of TQL Global, a licensed NVOCC division of TQL. Responsible for driving Ocean & Air Revenue, you’ll become a pivotal member of growing one of TQL’s newest divisions. We are looking for individuals with Freight Forwarding experience and a proven history of sales success to build on our existing domestic customer base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a regional territory to identify international air, ocean, and customs business opportunities within existing customer base and prospective clients
  • Educate our sales floor, existing customers, and prospects on our international services 
  • Meet with customers who have air, ocean, and/or customs opportunity virtually or in-person to implement value added international solutions
  • Conduct account reviews with customers on performance, and market forecasts
  • Collaborate with International Sales leadership and TQL Global Operations Team on pricing and operations to build solutions for customers
  • Attend trade shows as appropriate
      

What you need:

  • 2+ years of Freight Forwarding air, ocean, and customs sales experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to travel for customer and industry obligations when necessary
  • Professional communication and excellent relationship-building skills
  • High sense of urgency with a results-oriented focus
  • Ability to be on call 24/7/365
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
