Prefer minimum 3 years’ experience selling carbon steel products including flat-rolled sheet, plate, merchant bars and structural tubing. In addition, experience in the value-added processing of these products is preferred. This should include a working knowledge of laser cutting (flat & tube), saw cutting, as well as plasma cutting and bending. Experience with stainless steel and aluminum flat-rolled material is a plus.
Ideally the candidate would live near the Tulsa, OK area.
Our core customers include a wide variety of OEM’s as well as plate and structural fabricators. The candidate should be a self-motivated individual focused on year over year growth of sales volume and profitability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Increasing sales volume & profitability through expansion of customer base.
Participating in the planning of, and execution of, company marketing and sales strategies.
Communication of customer requirements as well as changing market conditions to management and co-workers.
Managing contracts and special projects.
