SUMMARY
Heluna Health invites applications for an Outreach Specialist position to support the California Department of Health Care Services’ Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). CYBHI is a multi-year, multi-department package of investments that reimagines the systems that support behavioral health (BH) and wellness for all California’s children, youth, and their families. Under the direction of the CYBHI – Project Manager, the Outreach Specialist is responsible for managing Heluna Health’s CYBHI outreach strategy and deliverables. This position will work closely with the CYBHI Project Manager to design and execute outreach infrastructure, servicing 400+ grantees over a two-year grant period.
This is a temporary, grant-funded, full-time, benefited position. This role will be primarily onsite at fixed, mobile, and designated site operations. Remote work may be required for this program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work closely with CYBHI Project Management to ensure that the program meets its outreach objectives and that the outreach strategy is delivered throughout program life cycle.
- Provide premium support to a variety of stakeholders including grantees, partners, subject matter experts, learning specialists and others.
- Directly triage or implement infrastructure to triage grantee questions.
- Continuously update and maintain internal knowledge base to better assist grantees.
- Support the Project Manager in the creation and implementation of the Grantee Help Desk mechanism and policy.
- Manage help desk requests through online platforms like Monday.com or another ticketing platform.
- Must be able to work with subject matter experts to deliver technical assistance in grant administration and behavioral health interventions to grantees.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Monday.com preferred.
- Must be comfortable speaking in public.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma and two years of experience in customer support.
