Job Description
The Light Up Nashville (LUN) Lighting Design Specialist (LDS) is the principal point of contact between LUN and its customers in a sales capacity. They ensure that new clients have the right product and services, identify new markets, respond to sales leads, and pitch prospective customers. In many ways the face of the company, LUN LDS provides customers with consultative design services in support of LUN products. The LUN LDS responds to sales leads while maintaining good customer relations and pursuing new sales opportunities.
The LUN LDS is responsible for qualifying sales leads, scheduling and conducting sales calls, and ensuring timely follow-up in pursuing sales leads. LUN LDS maintains positive relationships with existing customers selling new products and services while aggressively pursuing prospective customers.
The LUN LDS must be able to recognize and support those sales activities that will maximize revenue. The LUN LDS is dedicated to continuous improvement, superior customer service, and relationship building.
The LUN Lighting Design Specialist reports to the LUN President
LUN Lighting Design Specialist Skills:
Assimilates and learns new technologies and programs quickly
Proficient in Microsoft or Google Workspace, CRM, design programs and working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of sales experience in a fast paced, high growth entrepreneurial company. The performance based compensation structure is base salary plus commission. LUN provides a competitive employee benefit package.
A college/post-secondary technical degree is a plus but not a requirement for the right candidate.
