The Technical Sales Representative (entry-levelinside sales role) will be responsible for replying to distributor and end-user inquiries and supports customers with applications expertise strengthening relationships related to product details and usage while building the sales pipeline.
This position supports revenue growth by collaborating with cross-functional teams on specific strategies and promotional activities by gathering customer requirements and analyzing data and trends.
This is a hybrid role/working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare training and presentation materials engaging with customers via email, phone, or video conferencing with the goal of enhancing the understanding of Wearwell products.
- Research and keep current on competitive alternatives and demonstrate differences in performance and persuade customers to choose Wearwell products.
- Stay current on all pricing programs to be able to communicate pricing to customers as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service, Sales, and Production to ensure successful project management and delivery.
- Track and maintain customer interaction in salesforce.com.
- Maintain Wearwell social media posts relating to products and applications.
- Assist marketing in developing email campaigns relating to products and applications.
- Occasional travel within the United States may be required (up to 10%).
- Participate in virtual and in-person trade show events.
- React positively to change and perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications
- An associate degree or equivalent and two years job-related experience; and/or equivalent education, training, or experience in job related activities; prior experience in an industrial work environment desired.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and embody our culture and core values.
- Able to accept accountability for own actions and business results.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and integrity in work ethic.
- Successfully manage organizational change initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, adhere to work schedule and manage regular duties with minimal supervision from a home office environment that is quiet and free from distraction.
- High-speed reliable internet access and
- Participate in video calls/team meetings via web camera.
- Reliable attendance is necessary.
