SalaryFortrans, Inc., a family owned and operated truckload provider, is currently seeking an Operations Manager who is directly responsible for all aspects of managing our truckload operation. This position is accountable for customer service, dispatch, load planning, driver relations and retention.
Days / Hours of Work
· Monday - Friday with alternating Saturday mornings and on call after hours.
Responsibilities
· Plan, assign, dispatch & communicate Loads
· Account for customer/driver needs & DOT regulations
· Maintain load status information timely & accurately
· Nurture relationships with customers & drivers - Build Teamwork
· Investigate & resolve exceptions and safety related issues
· Maximize utilization within the constraints of regulations
· Accountable for fleet profitability
· Assist with LTL Operations when needed

Qualifications
· Experience supervising CDL drivers (minimum of 2 years)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Experience using an automated TMS System (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation commensurate with experience (range of $65k – $75k). We offer a competitive benefit package which includes health, dental, vision insurance and company paid life insurance. Holiday pay, PTO and 401K with a company match.
