Position Details
Tilson is seeking an experienced and dedicated OSP Project Manager to join one of Tilson's largest and fastest-growing business units in Outside Plant. This position will lead and manage all operations of all existing and new network infrastructure assets for the Las Vegas, Nevada market. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-growth environment and be motivated by the opportunity to lead in a technical capacity.

- Financial management and planning at the project level
- Technical expert within the Outside Plant industry
- Commitment to excellence in customer service and meeting deadlines
- Database management and detailed as-built record-keeping
Responsibilities:
- Lead Tilson representative for all technical and operational issues, to internal or external personnel or inquiries
- Full project P&L responsibility and accountability
- Responsible for contract compliance, including strict adherence to SLA terms ad performance measures. Track and manage project-specific KPIs related to response times against SLA terms.
- Maintain a safe environment and ensuring all safety standards are met
- Cultivate a working relationship with customers to identify and support project requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert to the customer as it relates to project standards and best practices for Outside Plant Operations & Maintenance
- Work with internal stakeholders to complete project execution plan, work breakdown structure, staffing plan, and deliverables
- Effectively and frequently communicate expectations to external vendors and internal team members
- Assist in the planning, procurement, and implementation of the fiber management system and broadband commercialization projects
- Track and report on project schedule, milestones and provide status reports on a weekly basis
- Oversees the procurement of equipment and materials related to the assigned projects
- Daily interactions with clients and potential customers including providing updates, progress trackers, and attending on-site meetings and presentations
- Manage and track performance across schedule, budget, and quality parameters
- Pro-actively identify potential project risk factors, communicate these to the project team and/or client, and work with construction managers internally and externally to mitigate
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communicating status with the client and addressing issues as they arise
- Complete understanding of project scope, capabilities, risk, and sourcing appropriate local vendors that meet requirements and state licensing requirements
- Manage contract terms, purchase orders, and change orders with the client
- Strong attention to quality construction practices and ensuring timely closeout and delivery of the project schedule.
- Manage, recruit and hire personnel as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or 5 years of relatable experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have experience in outside plant engineering, construction, or both
- Demonstrated, successful experience in Project Management and a deep understanding of industry standards
- PMP Certification desired, not required
- Must have strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational development skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed, with 5-10% travel within NV.
- Valid Drivers License Required.
Must be at least 21 years of age to meet Tilson's driving eligibility requirements.

Tilson leads with integrity around pay transparency; as part of the compensation plan for this position you can expect a pay range of:
$70,000.00 - $120,000.00
