Form of workFast Pace Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN/Physician Assistant/PA) to join our growing team. Though the practice resides within our urgent care facility, it is a part of our ancillary services team. Your patients are scheduled and your practice's hours would not be the same as the urgent care clinic.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies.
- Administer non-surgical fracture reductions.
- Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections.
- Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound.
- Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions.
- Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts.
- Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation.
- Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in patient as determined.
- Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with support staff and the Clinic Director
- Complete necessary patient care documentation, including daily notes, progress notes, discharge notes, and other required forms as requested by treating physicians, rehab nurses or insurance companies, case managers and physician referrals
- Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referring sources
- Maintain clinical logs and checklists to ensure compliance with local and federal requirements
- Foster positive work relationships, boost morale, increase productivity, and create a best-in-class clinical team by collaborating closely with all clinic staff
- Perform therapeutic procedures, diagnostic testing, and manual testing, such as I&D, splinting, suturing, infection management, and wound care
- 1+ year of outpatient experience as an Orthopedic Provider working alongside an Orthopedic Surgeon (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN/Physician Assistant/PA)
- 1+ year of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
