Orthodontist

Established Dental office looking for a personable Orthodontist to join our Antoine location. This is a high volume private practice and we treat both adults and children. We accept insurance, self-pay, and Medicaid/CHIP. No DHMO/HMO or adult Medicare. We have multiple locations throughout the greater Houston area.

Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, and quality-focused. Must be comfortable and proficient with all aspects of orthodontics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must! Please email resume directly to practice owner.

Duties:
- Diagnose and treat dental and facial irregularities
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Install and adjust orthodontic appliances, such as braces, retainers, and aligners
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, such as dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Orthodontist
- Proficient in medical terminology related to orthodontics
- Knowledge of vital signs and patient assessment techniques
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices
- Experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with knowledge of Dentrix software
- Strong understanding of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
- Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and occlusion
