Orthodontic Digital Assistant/Lab Technician
About the Job:
An established, state-of-the-art, private, orthodontic practice, and is currently seeking a full time Lab and Sterilization tech to join our dynamic team. This position is a complete clinical experience for the right candidate with the love of learning. This position involves about 50% clinical and 50% laboratory tasks within a full-time position.The candidate must have at least one year of experience in a dental laboratory and will be tasked with coordinating lab cases and delivering lab fabricated appliances which include Invisalign/Aligners, retainers.A successful candidate must also be extremely proficient with computers and 3D manipulation software with experience with 3D printing.

The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. Primary Job Duties:
Lab technician: Coordination of In-house and outside lab cases. Create high quality lab appliances such as aligners and retainers. We take pride in providing the best quality work for our patients. All steps in the fabrication of appliances go through quality processing and will be taught with detailed instruction. Additional tasks such as lab organization/cleanliness and Lab inventory will be a task of the lab team.
Digital Assistant: Preprocessing of patient scans for aligner / Braces / Retainer treatments and delivery of lab appliances on patients chairside. Patients also submit pictures online for virtual appointments which much be followed everyday by the Digital Assistant.
Records technician: Obtaining excellent high quality patient records such as intraoral scans, pictures, and x-rays while abiding to HIPAA guidelines. X-ray certification is preferred but can be obtained after a successful hire process.

Have a thorough understanding of the importance of taking dental histories and maintaining accurate patient records
Have experience providing front office support, such as greeting patients, directing patient flow, answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining patient records
Can readily take instruction from the treating provider, and can adapt to different styles and requirements
Preferred bilingual English/Spanish
Required Experience:
Strong computer skills with experience with third party dental management, lab, and 3D software.
Preferred to have at least 1 year of medical/dental / lab experience
Strong organizational and administrative skills you see what needs to be done and do it
