Orthodontic Assistant/Receptionist

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Orthodontic Assistant & Front Desk Coordinator.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the dual role of Orthodontic Assistant & Front Desk Coordinator. In this position, you will play a crucial role in assisting our orthodontists in delivering high-quality care to our patients and managing front desk operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Orthodontic Assistant:

• Assist orthodontists during patient procedures and appointments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments are sterilized.
• Take patient records, including X-rays and photos.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for braces or other orthodontic appliances.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Front Desk Coordinator:

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate patient flow.
• Verify insurance information and process billing and payments.
• Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to commute to both offices Ocala and The Villages.

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 6:45am - 5:00 pm
• Fridays: 8am - 1pm
