Schedule for the Orthodontic Assistant
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM (once per month)
Requirements and Responsibilities of the Orthodontic Assistant
- At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
- Treatment coordinating experience is strongly preferred but is not required
- Record and maintain orthodontic photos, CBCT, and intraoral scanning files
- Place separators and bandings
- Assist the doctors in bondings for labial and lingual brackets
- Change and tie/untie archwires
- Make adjustments to c-chain, stainless steel ties, k-hooks
- Work with SureSmile wires and distalizing archwires
- Submit cases for SureSmile wires and aligners
- Deliver appliances and do impressions for appliances
- Carry out laboratory work such as pouring models and making essix retainers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
