SalaryElmhurst Dental is searching for an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant for our fast-paced practice. This is a part-time position: Every Other Tuesday, 11:30am - 6:30pm. We are looking for a friendly, personable and professional person who has great attention to detail and the ability to follow directions. Requirements include: Taking quality orthodontic facial photos, panoramic and cephalometric x-rays Taking, pouring, and trimming models. Prepare materials and equipment for the orthodontist, fabricate retainers, and changing arch-wires. Must be comfortable explaining orthodontic treatment including oral hygiene instructions with patients.
