Organizational Development Specialist - Roskam Foods
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Talent Enablement, the Organizational Development Specialist will design programs related to employee retention, leadership development, supervisor training, performance management, etc.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the management of HR Data Analytics for the organization. Helps to determine correlation between initiatives and success of them.
- Works with People Systems + Services to design HR reason codes to appropriately capture data within the HRIS.
- Works with functional support groups to design e-learning to be managed through the LMS.
- Becomes the expert of the LMS and uses its’ capability to deliver e-learning.
- Creates and facilitates training such as performance management, leadership training and compliance training. Implements alongside the People Operations team.
- Continuously works to identify areas of training need and creates programs to align with the need.
- Supports business leaders in the areas of building career progressions.
- Management of HR analytics
- Discovers continuous improvement opportunities and takes the initiative to drive incremental change in processes and systems.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field (or equivalent related experience).
- A minimum 3 years of Human Resources and/or Organizational Development experience.
- HR experience in a union environment strongly preferred. Previous manufacturing HR experience preferred.
- Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience conducting first-line and management training.
- Experience managing analytics and reporting on metrics.
- Excellent presentation creation and implementation skills through PowerPoint and other similar software programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning techniques.
- Experience working with an LMS, specifically serving as the administrator of a LMS preferred.
- Experience building and creating training materials is a must.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and be perceived as an approachable and knowledgeable resource.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
