Primary Function:

• Position is responsible for generating, posting and maintaining production schedule/Hot list. 
• Meeting targeted production goals and objectives. 
• Be able to treat hourly employees fairly and in a consistent manner. 
• Motivate employees, discipline when necessary, enforce company policies and decisions.
• Train new employees. 
• Do whatever is necessary to keep their respective shift efficient.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the direction/supervision of two or more employees on his/her shift.
2. Responsible for checking, entering, and analyzing daily production sheets.
3. Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the plant.
4. Must maintain acceptable levels of productivity - 96% or better.
5. Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of production/quality issue.
6. Recommend promotions/discharges to Plant Manager.
7. Assess resources and provide recommendations to management in order to maintain adequate resources.
8. Must promote safety awareness throughout the facility.
9. Must be capable of performing minor maintenance functions within their respective area.
10. Responsible for resolving any quality problems as an active member of our Quality Team.
11. Required to comply with all work, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
12. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in related industry. Must be computer literate.  Attention to detail and quality a must.  Must maintain a valid forklift license.
• Must maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and plant employees both verbally and in written form.
• Position requires constant walking, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling and climbing on and off the forklift truck.
