Position Title: Full-Time Order Puller

Reports To: Shipping Manager

Job Summary:

The Full-Time Order Puller at Metropolis works effectively and efficiently in a dispatch and stockroom environment to pull orders accurately and timely. Collaborating with the stockroom team, this role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction through the efficient handling of vintage comic books, original comic book art, and memorabilia.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently works within a busy shipping department.
• Ensures orders are pulled accurately and placed at the designated area for shipping.
• Effectively utilizes the company's systems to locate and gather products.
• Communicates with team members about organization practices.
• Liaises with stockroom overseers and managers regarding product ordering and storage.
• Maintains a constant state of alertness and follows safe working practices.
• Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of two 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.

Work Environment:

This position works in a stockroom setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
