What is an Order Management Specialist?
We are looking to add another team member to our Order Management team! The primary role of the Order Support Specialist is to partner with our sales department and assist in driving positive experiences with our Domestic Distributors. Tasks commonly include customer support, coordinating expedited orders, delivering status updates, perform telephone support as needed, supervise contract commitments. This is a customer contact position that requires oral and written communication skills.
Primary responsibilities:
- Join a team of existing Order Managers and learn from the best!
- Receive, review, process and coordinate customer orders and inquiries
- Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide quality responses to, delivery, price, and new product inquiries.
- High degree of cross training required.
- Coordinate internal and external questions, concerns, issues, problem solving.
- Review contract/purchase orders to ensure customers' quality requirements are met.
- Maintain reports, records, and systems.
- Perform projects and related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years Order processing experience
- 2+ years of account management or relative customer experience
- Strong constitution and positive temperament
- Passion for driving process improvement
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn quickly
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Digital literacy with focus on Microsoft Suite Products
- Customer facing background including phone support
- Works well within a team environment or as an individual contributor
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction using established policies, guidelines, written & verbal procedures and instructions.
- Able to maintain punctual and consistent attendance.
- Able to sit in a workstation facing a computer for extended periods of time
- Prior experience with Oracle preferred
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
