TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform various agricultural tasks as directed by the supervisor according to standards; for example: pruning, planting, mowing, training trees, picking fruit, etc.
- Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform tasks which are often repetitive in nature.
- Follow company policies and procedures for employee and food safety.
Safety: Required to have a complete understanding of all the safety rules and practices and support ongoing safety training and efforts to eliminate unsafe conditions / acts.
Food Safety and GAP’s: Support the company food safety policy in all facets of work. Stay informed in what is required to meet audit standards and regulatory requirements for food growing / production.
Hours of operation and work environment: Required to work a flexible schedule including overtime as needed in busy seasons (such as periods of harvest). Work conditions are primarily outside, which includes exposure to different weather extremes and changing conditions.
