SalarySouth Shore Oral Surgery is a small private practice in Rockville Centre, NY. Our practice is based on quality care, achieved through teamwork, flexibility, and commitment. We are looking for a receptionist to join our team. A positive attitude and dedication is a must!
Responsibilities:
1. Must be Proficient with WIN-OMS software- (Willing to train the right candidate)
2. Provide high level compassionate care to our patients
3. Greet patients upon arrival. Enter their demographic and insurance information into the electronic medical record.
4. Manage multiple phone lines. Scheduling, changing and confirming patient appointments. Taking messages, referring calls to appropriate individuals.
5. Verify and review insurance and discuss pre treatment estimates with patients.
6. Creating and organizing paper charts for new and existing patients.
7. Correctly updating new and existing electronic charts with medical and financial information.
8. Informing patients of office policies.
9. Thorough understanding of dental terminology.
10. Accurate note taking for messages.
Office hours
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri : 8:45AM - 5PM
Wednesday: 8:45AM - 2pm
Pay is commiserate with experience.

*We are looking for a full time front office team member with dental experience, but are willing to train the right candidate*

Pay: $35,081.00 - $45,000.00 per year
