Essai Test Solutions are looking for a Support Engineer, to support the Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) system, with experience in Order Management (OM), Procurement, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reporting.
Core activities will include supporting business users, in using the Oracle EBS system, dealing with operational issues, and working with IT Support for technical assistance, changes, enhancements.
The duties include:
- Responsibility for providing business support in using the Oracle EBS (12.1.3) modules
- Support users in the business operations, across Customer Service (Quoting, Order Management and Order Processing), Procurement, Inventory, WIP, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Business Reporting.
- Support and troubleshooting of functional and user issues.
- Work closely with IT Support Engineers, for incidents, requirements, and changes
- Provide training and assistance to end users.
- Document operating procedures and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/ Technology or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience of 3+ years as a Technical/ Support Engineer or Analyst.
- Experience with Oracle EBS related modules,
- Experience in SQL and familiar in performing queries and reports.
- Experience in the languages of; PL/SQL, OAF, Java/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML.
- Experience in the software tools of; JDeveloper, Putty, Git, JIRA, PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL Developer.
- Complex problem-solving and tracking skills.
- Experience in Root cause analysis and escalations.
- Project Management skills, PMP Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Reporting, BI, RPA, and Automation Tools is preferred.
- Experience in creating functional / technical documentation.
- Good analytical skills in solving technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Experience in working effectively with people, across multiple levels, multiple cultures, and time zones.
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good self-management and coordination skills.
- Good communicator and presentation skills.
