Our boutique optical showcases a diverse collection of independent frame lines, equipped with the latest in eye care technology. We are currently expanding our team and looking for an Optometry Technician to join our dynamic practice in both our Ashburn and Sterling locations.

This position is perfect for college students pursuing a degree in medicine or health, or anyone seeking an entry-level role in the healthcare industry. We are searching for individuals who possess a calm, peaceful, and friendly demeanor, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and have the ability to multitask effectively. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to immerse themselves in learning about eye care, contacts, and glasses are essential. Previous experience in eye care, optometry, or ophthalmology is required to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-testing of patients and assist with updating their electronic health records and taking patient history.
• Train patients on proper contact lens care and manage contact lens sales and inventory.
• Support the optical team with eyewear check-in, dispenses, and adjustments.
• Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
