Full-time position open for an “Optometric Assistant”. Seeking someone with some experience in optometry. If you are interested in joining our team in providing excellent medical eye care, please submit your resume.

List of Responsibilities/Duties:
- Performs selected eye care, specific work-up protocol as designed by physician - including assigned measurements of visual disabilities. Also performs refraction, retinoscopy, photography and other tests as needed.
- Efficiently and accurately interviews patients and documents histories.
- Prepares exam room with necessary instruments & maintains instruments/necessary supplies.
- Communicates with patients regarding follow up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, etc.
- Maintains patient files, records (EHR ) & HIPAA requirements.
- Excellent typing, grammar skills and computer experience.
- Other duties as assigned

Hours are Monday through Thursday until 5 & Fridays until 1.
