Optometric Technician

Pearle Vision of Brandon is a family-owned, upscale, full-service optical establishment that has been serving Brandon and the surrounding communities for over 38 years. Job requirements

• Pretest patients
• Assist optometrists with daily operations
• Answer telephone and direct calls or take messages
• Check voice mail and email messages
• Monitor text messages and in-store messaging consistently for messages/tasks
• Schedule appointments
• Confirm appointments via text.
• Enthusiastically greet incoming patients.
• Verify vision benefits
• Work closely with optometrists to keep the patient flow moving efficiently.
• Scan documents into the point of sale system.
• Any other tasks requested by supervisors.
