SalaryWe are Tally Eyeglassery, a boutique private optometric practice located within Tallahassee looking to add an additional dedicated Optometric Technician to grow with the practice. The main focus would be to assist the optometrist with patient care and reception. The Optometric Technician will also help with preparation for eye examinations, perform clerical duties, and maintain exam equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient care and eye examinations.
- Taking patient histories
- Educating patients on the care and maintenance of lenses.
- Explaining the testing process to patients, preparing them, and administering tests on visual capabilities.
- Keeping records and inventory
- Scheduling patient exams
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in the eyecare field is beneficial but not a requirement
Compensation & Schedule
- Looking for 4-5 days/week
