We are an upscale, independent and locally owned private optometry practice looking for the right person to join our wonderful team located in The Villages at Brunswick Forest. We are a fun, laid-back office that is growing and looking for a long-term team member.

We find education to the patient of utmost importance so they can better understand their visual system and eyewear. The ideal employee would be able to communicate well with patients in a pleasant disposition, be excited and willing to learn, be fashion forward, be punctual, and be kind. We are a small practice that all work very closely with each other so being willing to do whatever is necessary for the good of the practice is a must!
Full-time (40 hours/week).
Monday thru Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)
Pay based on experience and qualifications.

Your duties would include:
- Assist patients on selecting eyewear to be fashionable and functional
- Being knowledgable on various lens materials, designs, and coatings to help each patient's eyewear needs
- Adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear
- Verifying and billing vision insurance
- Maintain eyewear inventory
- Work directly with frame and lens company representatives
- Effectively troubleshoot eyewear issues - Greeting patients and providing the best in customer service
Requirements
- Optometric experience preferred. - High School graduate - Friendly and genuine personality - Organized and detailed oriented - Desire to excel and grow with the practice!
