MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent and four (4) years of experience in property or inventory control.
College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience.
Requires possession of a valid driver license.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional to moderate travel required.
Position may respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.
NOTES:

JOB DUTIES:
Occasional operation of heavy equipment, including a mower to maintain the Florida Forest Service District Office, a forklift to maneuver semi-truck loads, and other equipment needed for general groundskeeping maintenance.
Performs basic maintenance of facilities such as weed-eating, edging, trash disposal, and removal of lawn debris
.
Works with supervisors and/or other team members to conduct annual inventories and to ensure that they are completed accurately and timely. And that all inventory items are identified and accounted for. Ensures that all accountable property is located, inventories properly identified, and that acquisition, transfers and disposal of property is properly documented, including conducting federal property sales.
Operates, maintains and issues materials and supplies to shop personnel as per established procedure.
Supervises medium security inmates. Must be able to retrieve between 1 and 4 inmates from Baker County Correctional Facility daily. Must be able to plan their workday, provide the necessary tools and supervise the work of these inmates. Must take/meet training requirements to supervise inmates.
Performs other related duties as required, which may include receiving and distribution of parts/supplies.
