Description:
- Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the Ophthalmic Technician maintains patient flow and take vitals for each patient.
- The workflow will consist of rooming patients and taking their vitals before they see the Doctor.
- Documenting in their EMR system (EPIC)
- Assisting the Doctor with any patient visits (ex. Scribing, setting up for in office procedures)
- Sterilizing any equipment before/after patient visits
- There are a total of 2 Opthamologists in the clinic seeing patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics
- Will see anywhere from 20-40 patients a day ranging from pediatrics to adults

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED level of Education
- At least one year of work experience as an Ophthalmic Technician, or a new graduate will be considered if completed clinicals
- Able to effectively communicate with patients in a friendly manner
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician or Graduate of 2 year Ophthalmic Program
