Operator, Wastewater

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Operator, Wastewater is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Supervisor. The Operator I will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Hiring Requirements:

• Commitment to 24/7 Safety Culture.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in wastewater or related industry preferred.
• A valid and active MA Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 3- 6 months of hire date.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Available for after hours and on call work as required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements or willingness and ability to learn.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card and pass a drug screen.
