Responsible for the shipment and receiving & storage of raw materials, packaging materials, bulk products, and MRO items. This position must comply with all import/export federal regulations (i.e. DEA, TSA, DOT, IATA, and IMDG), security guidelines, HSE regulations (i.e. waste management and Power Industrial Trucks (PITs)), and cGMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives and identifies raw materials, packaging components, and MRO items.
- Prepares international and domestic shipments ensuring compliance with Customs and Federal Trade Zone (FTZ) requirements.
- Keeps inventory data at WM, and participates in weekly cycle-count process and support discrepancies investigations.
- Assures housekeeping across the warehouse complies with 5S procedures and keeps working area clean and organized.
- Maintains PITs in optimal and safe conditions.
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Science or Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field.
- Technical degrees such as engineering, instrumentation, science, or applied mechanics is highly desirable.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more dry product manufacturing processes (Shipment Logistics, Receiving, Incoming Sampling, or Weighing), preferable.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong computer knowledge in Word, Excel, Power Point, documentation and inventory software such as WM/SAP among others
- One (1) year experience operating warehouse equipment and PITs
- Excellent interpersonal relations and teamwork oriented
- Candidate must have a strong safety and compliance mindset, and sound judgment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under supervision
- Available to support a 7/24 operation in rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
- Background check clearance for Custom and Transportation Security Agencies, is required
