Operator- 2Nd Shift

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Required Tasks)

• Operate a laser machine, sandblast booth, layup material or utilize a variety of tools to clean, build, stamp or finish parts
• Listens actively and take direction from Supervisor or Team Lead regarding daily work priorities
• Follows Safety policies and procedures
• Follows work instructions of their assigned department
• Follows ERP responsibilities as it relates to jobs
• Meets or exceeds productivity goals for assigned area
• Supports the quality system including the quality manual, quality policy and applicable procedures and work instructions
• Utilize downtime properly
• Leaves work area when appropriate, does not abuse bathroom breaks and does not wander
• Maintains and displays strong attendance habits by being present and on time
• Follows the NCR process
• Maintains 5 S work environment – cleanliness and organization
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead

SKILL SET (Required Skills)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Some manufacturing experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The duties of this job require the employee to perform mostly standing work with occasional movement throughout the facility to transfer or deliver parts. Occasional use of powered industrial trucks. Regularly lift and/or push up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or push up to 80 pounds. Frequent bending, squatting, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
