Job Overview- Join our team as an Operator I and take on a range of responsibilities, including sanitation tasks and operating equipment. You'll have the chance to work with experienced supervisors and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities-
- Primary duties include operation of: extractor, rotos seed extractor, mill/blender, pasteurizers, forklift, drum and bin filler, line station, pailing filler, L&A (evaporator), press filter, yard dog, and aerial lift.
- Reviews operations schedule and assigned equipment status.
- Maintains new skills and processes for equipment operations.
- Follows GMP, PPE, quality, and safety policies.
- Performs various tasks including tank cleaning, material additions, and maintenance.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of Production/Operations experience.
- Required to successfully complete the training program for Operator 1 equipment centers within 90 days of employment.
- Required to be at least 18 years of age.
- Required to maintain 3 shift availability (day, swing, and graveyard); required to work overtime when necessary.
- Required to lift and move up 50 pounds.
- Required to wear a respirator for certain tasks, when necessary.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting, and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $24.13 - $32.60 / hourly
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
