Job Description:
Looking for a Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day activities within a manufacturing shop. The role is crucial for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 10 in a welding/fabrication shop that manufactures steel buildings, providing direction, support, and motivation
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity
- Plan, organize, and coordinate operations to meet production goals and deadlines
- Monitor and optimize operations to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and organizational policies and procedures
- Manage employee schedules, performance, and attendance
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Must have leadership/supervisor experience in a manufacturing experience.
- Must have welding knowledge/experience.
- Must be a self starter
