Sola Salons is a facility operator which provides turnkey one- and two-chair salon studios for beauty professionals. Sola Salons’ tenants are not employees, but rather independent business owners. Job Description:
The Operations Manager works with the General Manager to oversee the operations of our Charlotte locations, including: 1) physical appearance/operations, 2) tenant move-in/move-out process, 3) contractor/vendor management, and 4) manage maintenance crew. These responsibilities are critical to providing support and relationship management with our tenants.
Specific areas of responsibility include: (i) standard operating procedures to ensure high quality environment with a focus on system(s) uptime, cleanliness and response time, (ii) managing the tenant move-in / move-out process with intense focus on customer service; (iii) managing repair & maintenance needs with intense focus on customer service; (iv) managing preventative maintenance schedules with maintenance crew and contractors/vendors; (v) cost savings projects and operational improvement projects; and (vi) utilize various metrics and analyses to measure the performance of operations and projects.
The position requires a combination of office time and travel among multiple locations. In addition, coordination with colleagues; tenants; contractors; vendors; property managers; franchisor and other parties is required. The position requires curiosity, time management, multi-tasking, relationship building, critical reasoning skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Experience and Career Requirements:
Significant work experience and a strong desire to support our team and our tenants. Experience in the beauty or salon industry is not required. Strong interpersonal and time-management skills are required. Facilities, operations, construction, and general work experience are welcome.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate: strong work ethic, customer service philosophy, time management skills, communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
Success will be measured in your ability to add-value to our operations, customer satisfaction, execution of process & procedures, collaboration with various constituencies and acting as an intermediary between GM and tenants and contractors.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
