The Operations Technician works with the Service Center management team by providing operational support to ensure successful coordination and support of our team members as well as our production goals
- Prepare team member hours and data input for accurate Tosca payroll submission
- Maintain shift records to include production, shipping, receiving, quality, food safety etc.
- In depth understanding of shipping process matching PO numbers to orders, working with drivers to take correct loads, making BOL's
- Confirm proper completion of BOL and transportation paperwork and update into Tosca's shipping system
- Meet and greet clients and visitors, send, and receive mail packages, schedule and coordinate meetings, lunches/deliveries, and other service center events
- Manage files, maintain hard copy and electronic files
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
- Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, and office keys
- Prepare business correspondences, mail, scan, or fax documents
- Maintain forms for the company and post materials on bulletin board
- Coordinate with service center supervisors to; communicate any special loads or shipments needed, meet out bound shipping goals and report any inventory concerns to Tosca Customer Service/Transportation
- Communicate with Tosca customer service and transportation companies to create a schedule for daily pickup and delivery
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required within the service center
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- 1-3 years of experience in a plant/office role
- Strong attention to detail and follow through are a must
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of shipping and receiving
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to work with confidential information
- Computer literacy, specifically MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work occasional flexible hours and over time based on company/volume needs
