JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
This position will support the enhancements and maintenance of the scheduling software and processes for EM, HM, Ambulatory, Virtual Care and Specialty service lines of TeamHealth. This position will collaborate with Provider Services, Operations, CMO Office, IT, Clinician Leaders, Staff Clinicians and other departments in support of scheduling processes and software needs. Responsibilities to include data validation, testing and set-up relative to software support, assistance with the creation and delivery of training materials, facilitate work team meetings as necessary, interface with the vendor and troubleshoot as needed, deliver on data requests and identify variances to be addressed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communicates upcoming enhancements with applicable teams in preparation of functional and/or process changes.
• Assists with user acceptance testing and troubleshooting of the scheduling software.
• Assists with hosting training sessions for administrative and clinician end users.
• Versed in scheduling processes to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Proficiently utilizes the current scheduling software system (Shift Admin), knowledgeable concerning its functionality, enters data, able to make changes/corrections, produce reports, etc.
• Provides afterhours support as needed.
• Demonstrates understanding of how to access Help Desk/Operations Support assistance if needed.
• Displays strong prioritization skills, ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Actively works to build relationships and communicates effectively as needed with members of Provider Services, Operations, CMO Office, IT and clinicians.
• Completes all other duties and assignments as directed by Ops Support Director.
• Assists in the facilitation of the department’s processes which includes: attending all related meetings; participating in developing and implementing goals; participating in problem-solving supporting corporate and center management decisions; being flexible and adaptable to change; establishing trust and respect for other team members; placing team needs first; and by completing all necessary training.
• Follows the norms and guidelines established by management for communication, production, efficiency, conflict resolution, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations.
